Once downloaded, verify that the ReadMe text file contains the proper information regarding your MATE3.

  • Version 003.019.001 (OPTICS RE)
    • Contents of the Release: Enhancements and Bug Fixes
    • Release Date: April 2019
    • Enhancements:
      • Improved replay functionality
    • Bug Fixes:
      • Fixed an issue where the internal web page displays values for AGS Load Start and Load Stop as ten times (×10) their actual value
      • Fixed an error that could cause intermittent incorrect CRC errors, which in turn caused issues with replay (file corruption) and OPTICS RE connectivity
      • Fixed an issue where the scaling of the high and low battery cut off (HBCO/LBCO) delay times are ten times (×10) their displayed value
    • Known Issues:
      • Time Zones on the MATE3 include UTC-02:30 and UTC+10:30 in order to support DST through OPTICS RE; Setting the MATE3 to one of these time zones can have unpredictable results
      • Local Time updates: If you change the local time, date and time zone on the MATE3, the change will not appear in OPTICS until you power-cycle the MATE3; if you change the time zone via OPTICS RE, the local time, date and time zone will appear promptly in the MATE3
      • Issues causing the MATE to freeze after the lock button is pressed, freeze on the splash screen, or enter a reboot loop when the splash screen is reached are caused by corruption or failure of the NAND flash; these systems must be sent to OutBack for service
      • Upgrading from version 2.x.x can cause issues. To upgrade older firmware, follow these steps:
        1. Save the MATE3 configuration to the SD card BEFORE updating to new FW
        2. Update to new FW (will format internal flash memory for v.3.x.x)
        3. Update again with new FW (will copy screen files and WEB HTML files)
        4. Restore the configuration from the SD card
