Available Aux relays

A place where users can meetup with other FlexPower One users and can find support for one another. A great place for people who have not purchased the FlexPower One yet to look up information.

Available Aux relays

Post by raysun » Mon Jan 27, 2020 9:55 am

I have an FP One (FX3048T, Mate3s, FNDC, and two FM80)

I'm looking to add some external control using built-in system logic and an aux relay on one of the devices. My main issue is not knowing what aux relays are actually available.

It looks like the relay in the FX3048T is used to run the turbo fan.

The FM80s Aux Control menu defaults to Vent Fan. Is that the internal fan in the unit?

I'm guessing the Mate3s Aux relay (if there is one) is dedicated to AGS.

That seems to leave the Aux relay in the FNDC as the only one available?

Is this right?

That is correct, and part of why we added an extra Aux to the FM100.

Rajah that.

And it appears a whole lot more logic choices to drive them.

I thought the FM Aux control vent fan option was not for the internal fan on the FM but used to activate an external vent fan to vent a battery enclosure during absorb charging when "gassing" of batteries may occur?

If that's so, then it's the best of all worlds. I want to run a diversion control and one of the FMs is the ideal candidate for knowing when.

Hey Raysun, I did not read your post closely enough.

Sandy is correct, if one of the FM80s has unoccupied AUX output terminals, see page 27 of the manual for your programming options.
