MX 60 will not run absorb cycle

Postby freewilley on Mon Jul 31, 2017 9:25 am

I have an MX and an FM 60.
I have long been suffering because the MX goes to Float or Bat Full when the batteries are not nearly 80%.

Yesterday I installed 2 brand new S550s and the MX went to Float while the FM ran as expected.
I cannot get the MX to run absorb.

I have been over the settings and cannot see any issue and asked for advice on the Northern AZ forum, no answer yet.

I wonder if the MX needs replacement or there is a fix.

Also, anyone have a technique for running absorb with the FM and stopping the MX from screwing that up...

thanks!

wind sun is a good choice . Have you tried the mx without the fm . Maybe need to set up the fine voltage adjustment for each one . Maybe raise the absorb voltage for the mx a few points at a time and see if the 2 stay more in sync ?
