Soft buttons dead...repair?

Post by freewilley » Sun Jul 19, 2020 8:35 am

I have just hooked up to the grid and I'm selling some of my old equipment which is mostly outback.
I have an mx60 which is still working with the exception of the display buttons. I googled around and it seems this is repairable but I am just looking to sell the unit. can you experts advise me if I should just junk it sell it for parts or advertise it for sale for expert repairing and use in their systems?

The MX60 is an old trooper and may be lauded for its years of service and the casualties it has endured. The soft keys are one issue, and can be worked around, for the most part, by pairing the unit with a Mate.

In good conscience, I'd sell the unit only to someone who knows exactly what they are getting into.

A good question and reading the manual, I'm mistaken, so no good answer. A mate can control certain functions but not program it like it can an FM60.

My bad.
