Mate on FP1-4 Question

Post by RayB » Tue Dec 03, 2013 4:47 pm

For some reason the Mate2 on my FP1-4 always shows that it is "Charging" even at night (no solar) and when the grid is "dropped". And it always shows that my batteries are 99-100% full. Can someone explain this, please?

Hello,

Sounds like you may not have your inverter shunt enabled. Go to ADV>DC>SHUNT and verify you have all three shunts enabled. That way you are accounting for everything. Also on the FP1, did you land your battery negative on the left or right side of the shunt? If on the right side this would explain the issue as you need to mount on the left side.

I hope this helps.
