communication between outback fm80 and magnum ms-pae

can I use the outback hub to link a magnum ms-pae inverter charger 24v 4000w with a outback fm 80 /mate?

no you can't...

Two different protocols.

You'd need a third party product that's capable of "speaking" both protocols. I'd love to say that our software can, but I've not been able to get my hands on a Magnum inverter long enough to make that work ...

I have some info here that OutBack Power released its current generation of utility-interactive battery-based inverter/chargers in 2012 with the goal of simplifying the design and installation of battery backup systems.
