MX60 Mate

Postby Roylyn on Sun Dec 06, 2009 10:38 am

I live in Spain and off Grid. Three years ago we installed solar panels, generator with the outback power system . Yesterday and just now I went up to run the generator to boost the batteries, but the MX60 Mate reads "Inactive". What exactly does that mean?. Can anyone offer any help. I have never seen this before, I have always seen it read MPPT. Should I be worried. What exactly should be reading at the bottom of mate when generator is running?

Thanks for any help or info

Hello Roylyn,

I believe that "inactive" is in the Spanish version of the MX60 Manual. This means the same as "Sleeping" where the PV voltage is Two (2) volts less than battery voltage. This may also appear during the day when the MX60 is transitioning between certain states .
