FW v 1.5.11 stopped meeting charge parameters

Post by Mike Curran » Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:55 pm

My Skybox got the firmware update to v1.5.11 and now it no longer recharges my batteries to 100% SOC each day. The last time it worked properly was on 8/18: https://drive.google.com/file/d/127MkKc ... p=drivesdk

Starting on 8/19 & continuing today Skybox isn't restoring 100% SOC as it did before. Any ideas how to fix? I haven't looked at any settings yet, hoping somebody has a quick fix idea. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12IMET7 ... p=drivesdk

Never mind! Looking at event history, it appears I inadvertently changed the absorb end amps from 12 to 31.35 (?!), and max SOC from 100% to 78% (another ?!). At the time these changes were made, I did update LBCO from 48 to 50.2 volts based on advice from the Simpliphi webinar earlier this week. I must've changed the others at the same time, but not knowingly or intentionally.

What is your impression of 1.5.11 so far now that you have separated the user issues from the firmware issues?
Drive Tesla Model X and Model 3 which are charged at Super Off Peak rates.

Tbh, haven't noticed anything different but also haven't been watching it that closely - notice it took me 2 days to observe my battery wasn't reaching 100% SOC each day
