Commissioning a Skybox

Post by Ampster » Sun Dec 02, 2018 8:10 am

When commissioning the Skybox, I forgot to enter passwords for the various levels and now can not configure some parameters. Is there a default password or how do I restart the wizard? I tried turning off all the breakers and rebooting the system but I didn't see where the system wizard came up again. Possibly a way to reset the system? I also sent a support ticket in case you do not want this information in the public domain.

Thanks, that was helpful, however the remote login password you sent me via PM did not work.
Not all settings on the Skybox are available on OPTICSRE and some settings on OPTICSRE do not take on the Skybox.
PV shows configured on OPTICSRE and disabled on Skybox. PV is not installed.

I have tried several things and can still not get the remote login password to work. In one of the Webinars it was stated that it is the same as the owner password. I have tried that and changed the owner password and it still does not allow me to login remotely. I get the login screen but it says "User name or Password do not match", when I used the owner or admin passwords.

The remote password is its own distinct entity and does not change when any of the other passwords are changed.

Please check your private messages one more time and let me know if that information is of any help.

Thanks again. That worked and I am online further configuring my Skybox from the comfort of my laptop. More importantly I can more easily document the settings and changes while using my laptop. Previously I had been using OpticsRE but some settings on the Skybox are not available on OpticsRE. I can still use OpticsRE for remotely checking my Skybox.

Hey there. We were in the middle of a skybox firmware update while connected to a generator however it failed half way through. Meaning the firmware update didn't succeed. Now the unit is dead.

Is there a hard reboot or reset anywhere on the unit? We were not shipped any USB with firmware.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Anton
