Mobile friendly OpticsRE website

Postby Kiwi on Tue Jan 10, 2017 2:52 am

Hi,
Any chance of making the OpticsRE website mobile friendly? It works great on a desktop, but not so flash on a mobile phone. The pop up windows don't work so well.
Same for the Mate3 direct web. Having this mobile friendly would be great too.
Cheers.

I access mine via iOS, iPad or iPhone probably 99% of time. Comparable performance to my laptop.

What are you using?

Hi,
I am using a Samsung S7.

The site works 'OK' for viewing, but either has to be shrunk heaps to see everything, or there is much scrolling going on.

But it is very difficult to change settings, as the 'Are you sure' box is not always visible, or findable, after submitting a change. (Eg to start the genny)

Cheers.

Have to agree there, guess I'm just so used to the screen size being off I just didn't think of that when I read your post. The size has never resized properly to the appropriate device. Poor or lazy programming? Seems most software resizes appropriately.
And then too much screen is just wasted. My system hasn't moved since installed, why a need a map is beyond me. I guess it could be useful if a professional with a bad memory, but doubtful.
