Wow, 958 amps, over 4400 pounds. My 32 Trojans T105 weigh 2080 pounds. Looks like a nicely wrapped, expensive power storage system.

Nice stats.

I found the cheapest price for it about 18k.

I got the 2700RE for 23.5K (was 24K at the time listed online) but now I see it went up in price, about 28K.

Now the question is: which one will last better? The 1000XLC or 2700RE which is 2.7 times bigger?

As far as "lifetime", the Outback datasheets state :

2700RE : 1800 cycles @ 50% depth of discharge (ie 5 years)

1000XLC : 3800 cycles @ 50% DoD at 25°C (10 years)

As far as a "Daily" DoD your REs' will last longer.
