Weather resistance?

A place where users can meetup with other FlexPower One users and can find support for one another. A great place for people who have not purchased the FlexPower One yet to look up information.

Anyone how weather resitant flexpowerone 3048-1 is. Can it be set up under an enclosure that gives it direct protection from sun but partial resistance from heavy rain and wind

The FLEXPower One is designed as an indoor only system. The SkyBox uses a NEMA 3R enclosure and could be used in the structure you describe. The SkyBox is the only Outback inverter with a NEMA 3R enclosure.

Maybe for a few years, especially if the inverter is one of the sealed units, every on-site connection is treated with an anti-oxidizing compound, and direct wet is kept off the panel. However, in a dust free, low moisture environment, the equipment will have a much longer service life.

going to make a little house for it using the pallete it came on 4 posts and a tarp should protect it well enough until I can get a proper carpenter.

Yep, it will be fine in the near term. The 3048 is a sealed unit. The other parts are on their own, but shelter from the storm should be sufficient.
