A place where users can meetup with other FlexPower One users and can find support for one another. A great place for people who have not purchased the FlexPower One yet to look up information.

Power Fluxuation with generator

Post by wpmaura » Thu Oct 15, 2020 5:30 pm

I run a generator for an hour at night to assist batteries or rain etc. But when I cut it.off there seems to be a dip in power. Should that be seemless?

It depends on the manner of cutoff, perhaps.

Is the generator simply being powered down, or is the AC IN being DROPPED first?

The Mate3/3s has a hard button labeled AC INPUT.

It has a menu that will allow input DROP and USE.

DROP doesn't turn off generator, though. AGS does.

But its a manual start generator.

The smoothest manual transition is to DROP the AC INPUT, then power down the generator.

AGS will do it all programmatically, but requires an AGS compatible generator.
