Second FM80 Breaker requirements on FP1

Second FM80 Breaker requirements on FP1

I have a FP1 VFXR3524A-01 and am adding a second FM80 and second Solar array.

I obviously need a 80 amp breaker for the battery cuttoff but do I also need to purchase a second OutBack Power PNL-GFDI-80 > 80 Amp 150 VDC Single Pole Panel Mount Ground Fault Detector Interruptor?

There is a dual GFCI: PNL-GFDI-80D that is a good fit for a dual FM80.

It already has a PNL-GFDI-80D. I thought it could only handle one FM80 due to 80 Amp restriction. Do I just need to wire it different?

When i googled PNL-GFDI-80D it looks exactly like what is my FP1.

Nevermind the image was wrong... Looking into it it I just have a FP1 PNL-GFDI-80.

I will order a PNL-GFDI-80D... do I also need another 80 amp breaker for the battery disconnect?

As a confirmation, did you Google pnl-gfdi-80 (no D)?

If the installed device is pnl-gfci-80D then there will be two 80A DC breakers, each with binding posts to take feed from an FM80.

IIRC:
This interrupter is wired between the FM80 DC+ and Batt+. The GFCI sense circuit will disconnect PV arrays from battery in the event of a ground fault.

The 80A single pole disconnect is wired between the PV array and the FM80 PV IN. One for each array/charge controller.

Refer to the FP1 Wiring guide to identify the components, connections, and wire gauges.

The existing PNL-GFDI-80 can be disonnected and removed, while also disconnecting and removing the adjacent 80A PV Disconnect. The PNL-GFDI-80D will fit into the two panel spaces, original wiring connected to sw1, and new wiring routed to sw2.

The two 80A PV disconnects can be mounted on the opposite side of the DC wiring panel. It's a tight pain getting the wires routed, but everything fits.

With more equipment, there's more grounds. It's a good idea to have a ground bus at the equipment panel.

Yea I was just confused because the FM1 has a Battery Status Breaker, GFCI and PV Disconnect....
