How do you know it loses connection?
What are you losing connection with?
Where are you pinging it from?

Because we start a extended ping from a computer to the mate 3 and every time happens the same thing, we lose connection and after 20 seconds we have reply again

Maybe you are overloading the Ethernet driver or buffer, making it too busy, if you are continuously pinging it. Try slowing the ping down to see what happens.

That can be a problem if your router assigns the same IP address to another device or the IP is outside of it's allowable range.

It's usually better to make an entry into the router's IP reservation table and enable DHCP in the device (Mate3).

No. You can have a static IP address but the router can duplicate it and make an address fight = lose data.
A static IP in the device can be an address outside the allowable range, of the router, and the router can't access it. = no connection

The best is to enable DHCP in the Mate3 and set the IP address static by reserving an address in your router's reservation table.

When Mate3 wakes up, it requests an IP address (DHCP), from your router, and your router always gives out the same one. Your router will not duplicate this address then,

But we are not connecting the mate 3 to a router, we are using an VERY SMALL APARTMENT TERMINAL, and also we tested connecting directly from a pc to the mate 3 and we still have the same issue.

I don't know what a "VERY SMALL APARTMENT TERMINAL" is.

You need something to assign a proper IP address to the Mate3 and that takes a DHCP server. Without a proper IP address a switch or router cannot talk to the Mate3.

Also the Mate3 will not support the protocols required to talk to modems at your ISP.

my mistake, very small aperture terminal (vsat) its a mini antena that its use to provide internet connection, data and VOIP, its directly connected to an antena in this case we are connected to the intelsat w53

We are in a HUB testing the mate 3 for a project, but somehow it happens in every test we made, we tested with a static IP, DHCP IP and the results were the same, i dont know if its a firmware problem but we updated to the last firmware.

My Mate3 ping response time is <1ms in the LAN. I would expect <1ms when you have the Mate3 directly connected to your computer as well. Maybe you need to try the firmware update again? This time use a new SD card that has just been formatted. If you are seeing this 80 second delay with several Mate3s I would think the problem is external from the Mate3.

If you are connected to a Hub then you must have a router. You aren't exposing all your equipment directly to the Internet via your vsat connection.
A router is required to translate IPP addresses from your LAN to the WAN. That is where you have to setup your DHCP reservation table or at least set a fixed LAN IP address within the boundaries it dictates for addresses. You must adhere to these rules.

Your Mate3 may not have the proper support for sat comms either

Ikarus,
How long is your Ethernet cable?
I would suggest you contact me directly at support@outbacpower.com
We can walk you through setting up direct connection to PC, to verify is you are having a network issue or MATE3 issue.
