Scrolling through the battery types In the settings In main menu of the Mate 3, I don’t see anything but FLA, GEL and AGM. Dont see LFP which is what my Simpliphi batteries are. What gives?

There are many manufacturers of lithium ion batteries, each have unique requirements.

If you select Energy Storage at this link http://outbackpower.com/resources/documents/app-notes you will see that there are five LFP battery manufacturers that each have their own app note on how to program. There is also a general app note on how to utilize lithium ion batteries.

For your SimpliPhi batteries the app note jointly developed by SimpliPhi and Outback is at https://simpliphipower.com/wp-content/u ... -guide.pdf.

Bottom line is that even for FLA, Gel and AGM batteries you have to read the manufacturer's technical docs to program charging parameters correctly.
