My RE system: VFXR3648A with a Flex Max 80 Mate 3s, FlexNet DC, all came pre-wired from Wholesale solar. Batteries are Fullriver 6 VDC in a 48 VDC bank. Solar panels are Astronegy 280watt and have a total of 12 for 3360 total watts using a Outback combiner with Rapid shut-down UL1741.

Mate 3s not saving configuration.

My system is set up to sell-back to the grid. I setup all parameters to sell to grid and then save the current configuration and the Grid sell Off-set keeps going back to N (no off-set) which does not turn the inverter on to sell to grid. I have changed this several times now to Y (Yes for off-set) and save config. Off-set is set to 1V less than Float. Please help. Thx...

Do you have your charge controller set to enable grid-tie mode? This can be done thru the Mate3:

Also note, offset is not a programmable function per the 8048 manual:

I had my VFXR 3648 A set to grid mode and manually set the charge controller to GT mode (as instructed in a vendor video) but they both reverted back to non Grid Tied mode. Just reset both to Grid Tied mode and did a save. I recently had a issue with bad cable and system was not getting a good PV connection to the charge controller. I replaced a cable and GFI breaker and needed to totally power down the system. This may be why the off-set was not saved. Does the VFXR 3648 A not save the off-set like the Radian?

Sorry, thought you had a Radian, but in any case offset is not programmable for a VFXR either.

I am not an expert on offset but just from reading the manual, the important thing to note is that your inverter will go into and leave "offset" operation depending on what's happening with your system at the time. You cannot set it and expect it to stay enabled.
