newbie to solar

Hi to all i'm new to solar systems & i'm trying to setup a system with 2 cuantum 275p sunport panels,1 flexmax80 a 4 6v 230ah 24v battery bank & a ups backup if is possible to use,
would like to know best setting for absorb & float settings thanks. i'm in miami plenty of sun light all day

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.
You will first want to check with the battery manufacture with those particular set points. Absorb, Float, EQ (If it applies) and times. Once you have those, i can give you some direction as to how to set those in your FLEXmax 80.

Hey Tribi - Looking at the product page for a Tripplite Smart pro, it says "External battery configurations require the use of Tripp Lite's External Battery Configuration Software (see manual)". Not being OB equipment it's doubtful you'll get much feedback here. I could be wrong, tho'.

Westinghouse Solar: 30 (2x15) 235W panels with Enphase M215 microinverters. 6,450 nameplate watts AC, grid-tied.
