Its a lot more fun to revisit two years later than it was during the actual work. I think I ended up with a mild case of PV-PTSD that took a bit to put past me.

The great thing is my spousal unit doesn't know or care about the dynamics of power delivery and consumption. We had our first shutdown due to overload just this last Sunday when she was running the microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal at the same time, and the 1HP water pump kicked on. Even at that, the system came right back up and I don't think she noticed until she looked at the blinking clock on the stove.

For a small system, this stuff works much better than I ever expected.
