AC Input Voltage Too High Problem

Post by blacktsang » Mon Oct 21, 2013 11:46 pm

I have an outback system with 3 Sets of FX2348 EMT for my Boat, I have connected my Ship Generator gives out 220Vac for AC Input to charge up my battery during night time.
I found a problem and error received from MAte3 about AC Input Voltage too high, when the system started to charge the battery, the Input voltage will increase to 340Vac which exceed the input limited. However, when i use my voltmeter to check my AC input from my generator, it shows constant and stable ~220Vac Voltage. Is that the problem of internal connection of Outback? Please help to solve the problem.

Is your generator 120/240Vac at 60Hz or is it 230Vac at 50Hz. I ask because this inverter is looking for 230Vac 50Hz and if you connect a 240Vac 60Hz genset to it you could have problems.
