Pass-through Amps 60 or 30amp on FX3500

Post by metama » Mon Mar 02, 2020 5:54 am

I am prepping for a GVFX3500 install and can seem to find info on the pass-through amp limits. It is listed as 60Amp AC in (with a recommended 60Amp breaker).

What are the true pass-through Amps? 60, 30, or something else.

GVFX3524 inverter?

The AC IN on the unit is rated at 120V @ 60A maximum. This is the rating of the transfer switch within the inverter.

When AC IN is used, the inverter is bypassed. The AC IN should provide enough current to simultaneously power house loads (equaling the inverter's AC OUT of 30AAC), and the inverter's battery charger, if used. I believe the AC IN max Amps for the charger is 14AAC.
