VFX charging but not inverting

Postby roks on Tue Nov 20, 2018 3:05 am

Hi All,

I am having issues with vfx, its charging the battery but when there is a power cut on the grid, it goes not invert.
Talked my onsite guy through turning the inverter on via the INV hotkey but it does not come on either, still shows "currently off".
I've asked him to turn everything off and power cycle and then send me a picture of the LED status......

Any ideas while I wait for it to be power cycled?

Thanks in advance.

Can you check to make sure you have the Inverter on/off jumper installed.

See attached image for location.

Thanks guys, looks like the complete power cycle sorted the issue, vfx is now working, my folks are happy.
One issue still bugs me is the vfx never enters float, someone mentioned seting the charger from auto to manual, it worked for another member here but I dont get the option. when I press the ACIN hotkey 3 times I get 3 options AUTO, OFF, OK. this matches older manual I have rev v2.3, perhaps my vfx is too old manufactured in 2003? I doubt there is any way to update firmware other buying newer boards?
