Inverter warning - temp sensor fault

Postby chanders on Sat Jul 04, 2009 8:03 pm

Today I checked my GVFX3524 and was alarmed to see the red error lighting blinking. After consulting the manual, I discovered it is an internal temperature sensor fault. Continuing through the menu, I get these values:

Air - 253
Fet - 203
Cap - 204

I set the bypass on my system and shut my entire RE panel down.

A previous post http://www.outbackpower.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2323&p=13181&hilit=internal+temperature+sensor+fault#p13181 indicated that a user had a similar issue and Outback sent the customer a new part. What are my next steps? This unit as only been in service since April, 2009.

Is the support@outbackpower.com address still actively monitored?
I emailed 5 days ago about a temp sensor fault, and got an autoresponder message stating "We have received your email and will respond in the order received. "
5 days seems a long time, or is there a very long queue?

It is still monitored. I'll poke someone in the eye Monday morning.

Apologies for the delay.

Hi Garth,

I've heard that you've had a response back from Tech. Support. Did that get you what you needed?
