Answering machine noise

Postby mtnman1000 on Thu Nov 23, 2017 6:34 pm

I've had my solar solar system up for a few years and bought an answering machine with a DC step down from 12V to 9V to power it. It is run through a DC breaker panel and worked fine except excessive line noise especially when my invertor is on. The machine no longer picks up so I've decided to regroup and see if I can find a solution to the noise as well as maybe a better low power answering machine or phone/machine all in one.

Can anyone recommend a good answering machine that would be well suited to a 12V setup? I do have the 12V-9V transformer if needed. If there is a good phone/machine all in one that would be just fine as well. To combat the noise it sounds like maybe I need a DC Isolator so any recommendations there would be good as well.

Thanks in advance.
