Basic electrical in Spanish

Post by JRHill » Sat Oct 26, 2019 12:44 pm

I have a young man helping with some projects. He's a smart kid and has an interest in the solar. I'd like to coach him but his grasp of technical terms is lacking. Can anyone offer a link to some basics so I can move him along, in Spanish? I mean really basic: Voltage = pressure, amps = volume, resistance = orifice, etc. I can help him from there - its just a technical language barrier.

Best,
Jim

BTW, I could care less about alien status and the like. It's just really refreshing to come across a kid who wants to learn and is trustworthy. I can't find that in the local town of rip-offs and....

voltage = voltaje, presión
amps = amperaje, volumen.
resistance = resistencia, orificio.

Thanks for the tips, folks. I was looking for something inexpensive to give him as a gift. He's a quick learner and hard worker. I've found plenty of options in English but the Spanish stuff gets suddenly quite expensive.I am thinking that I'll get him an English text am help him with any terms that he has trouble understanding.

The flash cards appear to be a very good way of learning the terms:
