Can a "Flexpower" sub-forum be created?

Perhaps under "Outback Integrated Systems"?

I just purchased a Flexpower 1 system and I find it challenging to connect with others who also have this system.

Thanks!

Re: Flexmax 80 to control hydro

Hi again David, I recently checked out a few more of those soleniod valves. They don't seem too hydro friendly. See this link: http://www.ascovalve.com/Common/PDFFiles/Product/2WayIntro.pdf . Basically, even when they are in an open/non-energized position, water flow has to navigate through a bit of...

Re: Flexmax 80 to control hydro

Hi Dave, Just chiming in to say that I am in the process of assembling all the parts for a FLEXpower 1 solar/hydro setup. No real experience with this, just a few thoughts. Interesting idea about using the AUX to trigger a solenoid which shuts off the water flow. It sounds like there is quite a bit ...

Re: Proposed Flexpower 1 Hydro/Solar System

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I am pretty sure about going with 48v, all the stars point in this direction. The other thing is that, upon reflection, I listed 2 quite different batteries, the Lead Acid Rolls vs the more expensive AGM's. I think the only reason I did that is because I know persons with ...

Re: Proposed Flexpower 1 System

Hmm, It's been a while since I posted. Perhaps my note was a little lengthy. Anyway, I am glad to be on this forum b/c I see all the other great posts and responses. Still, I am interested in anyone's thoughts about my original question regarding eight 6v vs eight 12v batteries (see #2 below in my O...

Proposed Flexpower 1 System

This is my first post to Outbackpower. IÔÇÖm pretty excited to enter the world of off gridding. I have done quite a lot of research but now its crunch time - getting the components. I am building a 3 person off grid house (240v). The heart of my system will likely be the Outback Flexpower 1-6 [edite...
