Re: I rather not use 3 charger controllers

I figured rather then starting a new thread I would continue this one as my information is already posted in it. I just acquired a Dozen sun Edison 265 watt panels MMEC-p265 ama their specs are as follows. Pmax 265 Imp 7.56 vmp 35.1 isc 8.26 voc 44.2 (they are poly) my Canadian solar are mono Module...

Re: I rather not use 3 charger controllers

This with the other clarification above about Voc gives me the clarity I was looking for. Once again I thank every one for taking time out of your day to help me! \:D/

Re: I rather not use 3 charger controllers

One last question just to make sure. At 12 340 watt panels (total 4,080 watt) on a 48 volt system, that would be about 85 amps if my math serves me right. Is this current size still safe to run on the flex max 80? I am in Iowa so it gets pretty cold here and I know how that can impact the output of ...

Re: I rather not use 3 charger controllers

I was unaware of these two options. My system in my new house will be a lot like the one in my current home. 48 volt back up with genset grid tied. Klundquist does this "One would have 10 modules with 2 in series by 5 parallel strings and the other would have 2 in series by 6 parallel strings. " ha...

I rather not use 3 charger controllers

I currently have 22 Canadian Solar CS6U-340M 340W and was looking in to using the Outback gs8040, it seems like there is no configuration that I could use with the outback charge controllers that would allow me to get away with only two of them due to the high Voc of any type of panel configuration,...

Re: Noob question. Intergrating two FM60's

When you say HUB you mean the HUB not a "Mate" right? Also I can use the external temp sensor but they are AGM batts and donÔÇÖt really change temperature. I am also assuming that calibrating the volt meter is done in the menu part of the FM60. One more last question does the HUB help the two FM60's...

Noob question. Intergrating two FM60's

I currently have a 2.7k system with batteries and a XW6048 hybrid inverter and plan to expand it beyond the capacity of my FM60. However not beyond the capacity of running two FM60's. I know you have to run the charger controllers in parallel to each other but is there anything else you need to make...
