positive to positive, seems to be parallel . Lots of other things have effect on watts out . cable length cable size pv orientation to sun time of year if you have a DC clamp meter you can check each panel . as you have them all paralleled up , you can expect them to all have almost identical amps i...

Re: FM 60 questions

Hi
Every morning no mater what the battery voltage is the fm60 should start charging in bulk , Once the absorb voltage is reached the absorb timer starts . If end amps is set to 0 then full absorb time will be done ... then it will go to float .

Re: New Fm60

yep seems no hard copy manual these days . You could get a print shop to print one for you . I still prefer a hard copy. once you have played around with the menu it becomes fairly easy . start with at least 2 - 3 hours absorb . Assume you have a rts ( remote temp sensor ) . I have mine set to " wid...

Re: Planned OPTICS RE Maintenance - Wednesday February 14, 0

Thanks for your suggestions . My only load it a LG 450l inverter fridge freezer . Internet connection also . Water is gravity . Fridge uses 299 kw per year . That equates to .8kw per day . but in reality from my measurements it is less than that . And even less when we are not in residence , which i...

Re: FlexMax 60 low charge current

absorb will end once the absorb voltage is reached and held at that absorb voltage for the time selected , or if end amps is reached . if end amps is set to zero then only time will end it . if your batterys are low , which is the case in morning , then the charge controller will first go into bulk ...

Re: Why are my Outbacks saying snoozing?

snooze only comes into play when voltage is low . during the charge cycle first is bulk . then once the bulk voltage that has been set in your settings has been reached it will change to absorb. the duration of absorb is either determined by the absorb time set , or the end amps set . The nect stage...

Re: Why are my Outbacks saying snoozing?

snoozing is when the light input into the pv dosnt provide enough voltage to charge . .. so a problem with a panel or just not enough light .
