Re: 4 inverters should run 4 chargers right?

First, we're working working on a resolution for the mouse-over on iOS. It appears this only affects iOS 13.X. Second, I do not see anything of concern in your OPTICS history. For example, right now, your battery is at 100% and a single charge controller in Absorb is producing more than the load req...

Re: Gfx Inverters

Can an FXR be series- or parallel-stacked with an older GFX or FX? No, they may not. Is it correct to say that the new FXR inverters are equal or superior to the GFX line in every way, and fully backwards-compatible, except for now requiring a Mate3 and being switchable between grid-tie (GFX) and o...

Hi Chris, is your system connected to OPTICS? If so, what is the site name? Please add that and other system details to your profile.

That is odd. Bas, I cannot find any OPTICS site named "basrijn". What is the current name of your OPTICS site?

Re: Call for Mate3 / Mate3S / AXS Port Beta Testers

Hi Bas,

You have a MATE3S now, right? It uses a 22 V rail.

Have you tried using Auto Reboot Interval? We have a new MATE3S firmware coming out soon with a number of connectivity fixes, but the ABI may help in the meantime.

Re: Call for Mate3 / Mate3S / AXS Port Beta Testers

Hi Bas, Is your network switch powered directly by the 12V DC from the battery? Note, your battery bank is relatively small, about 150Ah at C/20 if my estimate is correct. Therefore, the cascading effects of the over-sized load are likely to draw the battery bank's DC voltage down and out of the acc...

Have you tried upgrading to the latest version 003.019.001? http://www.outbackpower.com/resources-m ... re-updates

If that does not work, you might consider sending it in for repair, or upgrading to a MATE3S.

Re: Setting a Generator Max run time using Mate3

OutBack has reviewed adding a Maximum Run Time setting a number of times over the years, and decided the risk outweighs the benefit. That is to say, if the max. time is set too low by accident or by misinformation, it introduces the risk of missing critical charging targets. In short, a dead battery...

Re: How long for warranty work?

Good evening, that is well beyond our typical warranty response time of 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately, a small number of FM100 charge controllers produced in 2018 were affected by a nonconformity. Here's the text of the Product Notice sent to distributors in October the day after we discovered it. Note t...
