Re: No AC In Volts displayed on Mate 3 Inverter Status Scree

Is your generator's output 240VAC with a third wire as neutral to match the 240VAC split phase of the combined FXR inverters?

Re: OpticsRE AC input

Inverter current is supposed to rise from 0 to some current higher than 1 and buy current is supposed to go to zero.. BUT the value of load kw is supposed to be the same whether 100% powered by inverter or by the grid. I have noticed this discrepancy too.

I'm curious. If you can, please try to do an AC Drop and see what load kw reading OPTICS will show. Thanks.

Re: FM80 frequent failing of the circuit breaker

I take it as a YES that your Outback inverter and non-Outback inverter can be paralleled via FNDC. Not feeding the loads one at a time.

Re: Outback Not Powering MATE

Do you have extra CAT5 cables? There might be a break on that CAT5 cable you are using. Or, If you have an Outback charge controller, try that cable and plug in your MATE3 to the CC MATE3 port. At this point you are almost sure it is the CAT5 cable when the MATE still won't power up. If you have ano...

Re: FM80 frequent failing of the circuit breaker

Hi Marco,
I'm curious. Are the Outback and non-Outback inverters playing well with each other when paralleled via FNDC?

Re: Generic Mate3 generator question

If the GEN breaker is ON and the is AC Input LED in MATE3 is not even blinking, I think the generator is running but there is no output, basing from your observation that it only "idles". To confirm this you must have a voltmeter to measure voltage in LI, L2 and N terminals inside the Radian. You ha...

Re: fault with my FLEXmax 80

There is a way to possibly determine if an FM80/60 has shorted FETS/shorted PV input. With the PV breaker open or out of the picture, turn on just the battery breaker. Monitor the In voltage on the CC screen. It should slowly rise to about 75% of the battery voltage, but NOT equal to battery voltage...

Re: System not reporting load

"Remember that Load = Inverter + Buy - Sell - Charge." The bottom line is that inverters have notoriously inaccurate reporting at the very low end of their operational range. Add in truncation (and compensation), and the situation gets worse (and hopefully a bit better). You can always tempor...

Re: FXR3524A - 30 Amps AC - How can it be utilized?

"But then I read that the inverter provides 30 amps AC with a burst of up to 60 AAC" Foo, that 60 AAC is actually an input current from grid or generator and independent of the continuous output current of 30 AAC. And yes, inverter's output can go to a panel that carries more than two 15 A capacity ...

Re: Multiple FXRs w/ 1 Mate3 & 1 Hub 10 w/Split-Phase 120/24

As per FXR manual, only 2 inverters can be used for a Series Stack (120/240) configuration. Pg. 31-32 of the online manual. You can stack 8 of the FXR inverters for a 120/240Vac system. For systems with 4 inverters or less check out theOutBack pre-wired power panels: http://www.outbackpower.com/out...

Re: GFP Tripping

If your SOC percentage is staying at 100%, most like one of your shunts (A, B, or C) is not working. Make sure they are enabled, and when there is no solar and just the battery and a load, monitor the shunt current in the FNDC Device Map window. It should be reading a negative ADC value. If not chec...

There is no way you can make the display in English. The firmware installed there is Spanish language specific.
