Re: fm60 fan never coming on

Hi,
my fm 60 fan starts running after ca. 1 hours constant charging at 40 amps.
at 50 amps+(>1500w) it runs evry 1/2 hour with 20 ┬░C air temp.
I dont think you`ll have any heat problems with 20amps

Re: Batteries failing prematurely

the batteries reach absorb voltage and start counting down the set absorb time, when time has gone, they switch to to float, or you can watch the amps when the amps have droped to a level that stays constant the batteries are full, even though the absorbtion time is not over you wont get them any fu...

Re: Batteries failing prematurely

Hi, Hopefully its just the absorbtion time expect more like 3 hrs + it only takes one bad battery to cause problems and drag the rest down. this is worth a try: fully charge the batteries . I would then disconect the PV from the flexmax better safe than sorry. Then disconect the battery pos and neg,...

Re: wind turbine

I┬┤ll let you know how it works . been playing around with the turbine for a year now and changed a few things to make it work: new mast to stop the wobbling 6 meter 2 inch waterpipe dose the job. changed the propeller blades from 50mm to 60mm with more surface area the 50mm props were just to smal...

Re: Flexmax 60 for wind?

if your battery bank is big enough just conect the turbine (safer with fuses at both ends!) to the battery . you wont need a dump load and the batterys regulate the voltage. i`v done the same thing and the output from my turbine500w, most i`v ever seen is 9a/300wwhich in my case (60m cable) is just ...
