Re: Please open source the mate3 software so we can fix it

Given the investment Outback and Customers have made in the mate3, it would be a good start for Outback to upload the source to GitHub just to give others a chance to review it and make suggestions. More eyes makes for better software. My guess is mate3 is long overdue for a complete rewrite. If tha...

Re: Please open source the mate3 software so we can fix it

AXS Port is not a bad idea. But wouldn't you still need the mate3 to configure your system? Ideally we want an inexpensive, low-power-consumption bare-bones device from Outback that provides open REST APIs that anyone can extend. Wireless SD Card with MATE3?

Has anyone tried a wireless SD card in a mate3?

If it works, it would be simple to graph the latest data in realtime from any computer over WiFi

for example:

Re: data stream fields, Ethernet

@tallgirl, Can you please post what you found? I just installed a MATE3 and would like to write some software to monitor it over the Ethernet port. BTW, my wife's family is in Austin. Next time we're visiting (from Atlanta,GA) maybe we could all meet to exchange solar stories. Her brother is a hosta...
