If you have a copy and license for WattPlot (now no longer actively supported), you could collect the data in question.
Okay, no longer actively supported, but still out there and available at no charge - no licensing required.

Andrew will be back on this forum in time and will say what's up with the site and the apps. I only wish I could have better lived up to your optimism... As many of you know, the challenges of ailing parents and dysfunctional siblings spawned some big changes around here. Re: WattPlot 5 is back - and free

I think the "load" figures are the accumulated kwh for today, but I don't see any indicator for actual real time load watts. Is there a way to display that? And why has Optics stopped showing current watts data in the power flow chart? Further to my previous response, you may find WattPlot's 'Visua...

Re: WattPlot 5 is back - and free

I've disabled data streaming and seems like the odd behavior has gone away. Of course, no Wattplot data. You still have a few options. You can try turning on Network Data Streaming (UDP/IP) and get your MATE3 data to WattPlot via a network cable. Or you can go Modbus for WattPlot. The other option ...

Re: WattPlot 5 is back - and free

Funny, since I set it up my Optics dashboard power flow chart doesn't display the "to load" (going to the light bulb) data, although it does show the hourly totals in the bar chart. WattPlot should not have any effect on OPTICSre values (obviously), however, I suppose the installation of the USB ca...

Re: WattPlot 5 is back - and free

P.S. WattPlot 5 didn't work under Linux because of the activation process. That should no longer be a problem. for Linux? cool... I don't see anything on the website for an app to use... how can I start? So here's the story... I don't have a Linux machine, and have never tried WattPlot on one. Howe...

Re: Enable SunSpec on Mate3 remotely?

I'm afraid you might be out of luck on this one.

Even the most powerful access to the MATE3 settings (via Modbus) can't change this setting - which makes sense since SunSpec has to be enabled for Modbus to work!

WattPlot 5 is back - and free

Hi all: Sorry to disappear from the face of the earth - it wasn't by choice. Just a quick note to say that WattPlot Monitor PRO version 5 is available again, with one minor change: There is no activation function anymore and no corresponding fee. Just because I had to give up development doesn't mea...

Re: MATE serial out. Negative numbers for FN-DC shunts

Correct - WattPlot applications support every possible interface. From the MATE3 perspective, the UDP and USB interfaces are more reliable than the Modbus (depending on the firmware). The Modbus (with intelligent software) is the most powerful. The USB supports a good collection of predefined comman...

Is there software that monitors both Outback inverter and Classic CC? or better yet are there plans for the optics RE to interoperate the classic? Would be nice to see my system all in one program. WattPlot ACKcess was designed to do this, and has successfully connected to a MidNite Classic. ACKces...

You would think remote access to the SD card files would be a total no-brainer, and a high priority support issue if it wasn't working. And yet, to my knowledge, this has not worked for years, despite many people asking for such functionality . ](*,) If any one on this forum knows of a fix or workar...

Re: Dashboard - Net from Grid

VisualMATE is like a mini-real-time local OpticsRE - not what you need. I suspect, in your case, you would be better off with WattPlot SumMATE . It takes the MATE3's SD Card data and turns it into real information. Summarize, graph, troubleshoot, or plot down to the second. Oh, and I believe your ne...

hi, how do you warm reboot you device if you cannot access modes anymore ? I'm not sure of the context of your question. If you are accessing your MATE3 via OPTICSre, then good luck - I know of no way to do a warm reboot. If you are accessing it programatically via Modbus, then I might be able to h...

Re: AUX Manual ON fails

Hi David: Your speedy response is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Alas, the AUX port is not actually connected to anything, so that is not the problem. Also, that would not explain why it works fine with the AXS Port but not with the MATE3. I was able to run the same test with my FLEXnet DC Monitor. Th...

AUX Manual ON fails

I am trying to turn my GFX inverter AUX port On. Whether I do this via software, or go to the MATE3 and turn in on manually, both methods result in AUX On for 2 seconds and then the Aux port turns Off on its own. The Aux mode is Remote, there is no AUTO setting, and no AGS. I tried to do the same th...

Have you ever gotten OpticsRE to work? It didn't work. Those green cables are not Ether...
