Not really. It can be one single AC breaker with a rating depending on the number of Radian, in this case, 50A, 100A...

Re: AGS Relay Wiring

I search around and it looks like answer is YES to your connection questions. It usually does not matter, but To really follow the schematic, connect aux+ to 85 and aux- to 86.

Re: Automatic Transfer Switch - Which models used and wiring?

XXXXXX I looked at the OutBack document and the one-line diagram in Figure 1 will likely cause issues. - In normal service the "200A Main Service" appears to be the grid, is feeding thru the transfer switch, meter, service disconnect and into the Inverter's AC Grid In as expected. - If the grid dro...

Re: Disconnect from Utility for Ohm-Hour Events

Paul, You don't have to look very far. OPTICSre can help you with that. On the System Tools Menu, there is a button that toggles to USE and DROP. Use is connect to grid and Drop is of course, disconnect. Or you can simply walk to your MATE3s, press the AC INPUT button, then press Drop, or USE whiche...

Re: In Ac Voltage too high

That input frequency is good. If you can monitor the frequency the instant it disconnects at the same time with the voltage of 250VAC. I am not experiencing that frequent grid disconnect even if my grid voltage is at 250VAC. ..and the next time it disconnects: 1. Press AC input button 2. Press Disco...

When your system is connected to the grid, what is the input frequency?
You can find this by pressing the lit AC Input button.

Re: Not supporting load when grid is down

Hey Greg, So you are saying when the grid goes down the sky box isolates itself and you have to turn the inverter on manually? I am not saying that. What I'm saying is Skybox inverter must be in the ON status. For example , you have a battery and grid breaker on and it is feeding a load. On the mai...

Re: Not supporting load when grid is down

Hi electrictrauma, Supporting a load with just the battery bank without grid, generator and PV is a basic function of skybox, and any other battery based inverter for that matter. On the Skybox main screen, please check the color of the power icon. It should be green. If it is black, it means the in...

Re: FlexMax diagnostic - dead charge controller

Ran test. Not sure how long to let it sit, but after a few minutes, IN=1.2v Out=26.0 Since IN is not zero, try this: 1. Turn on the PV breaker 2. If the IN voltage > OUT voltage: 3. From the main screen, Go to the screen where you will see MISC by pressing the first button 4. Put the arrow on MISC,...

Re: From battery - To load

xxx I've always figured one shunt is enough for me, with only one FM and one VFXR. I can even separate the charging currents (instantaneous, anyway) by subtracting the FM contribution (in the FM display) from the total charging current (in the FNDC readout). xxx As long as you understand the concep...

The GSLC/Radian isn't my thing, but I assume each breaker is a disconnect for one of the inverter modules. Can the modules be shut down independently and the inverter still maintain operational integrity on the outer output leg? (I'm guessing yes.)

YES.

Re: From battery - To load

To Load , as well as From Grid , From Gen and T o Grid are AC kWh properties As Provo stated, To Battery and From Battery are produced when there is an FNDC in a system. They are DC kWh properties. A minimum of two shunts is needed to produce a value other than zero to both From Battery and To Batt...

Re: Looking for: system designer

He has essentially one bank of batteries. Based on the pics the negative leads of both are terminated at one shunt and the positive leads are terminated at the buss bar that couples the two 175A breakers of the Radian GSLC. While not ideal, it is still one bank. Apparently the original installer on...

Re: Question vfxr

Since you have more than one device, you now need hub (HUB4 or HUB10.3).
To get into cloud based OpticsRE, you need an internet connection. From your router, you will connect an ethernet cable to the back of MATE3.
Note that MATE3 is now discontinued, so you will have to purchase the newer MATE3S.
