We are performing monthly maintenance to services that may introduce a graphing delay and timeouts over the next couple of hours.

We do not expect the major timeouts to last more than 15-30 minutes. Maintenance should last a total of about 2-4 hours.

Planned OPTICS RE Maintenance - August 3, 08:00 PT

Maintenance Notification We will be performing updates on our servers Monday August 3rd at 8:00 AM PT (15:00 UTC). This is a regular maintenance that requires taking various services offline for one to three hours. Loss of connectivity will occur for part of the update, but should be minimal. Thank...

Re: OpticRe not connecting to internet

Along these same lines, I am trying to create an account on OPTICSRE and get to the point it asks for a MAC address which I am getting off the MATE 3. I get this error: It appears that the gateway device "00-90-EA-E0-15-99" has not sent any information to the server recently. Please ensure that the...

We don't expect extended timeout interruptions to last more than 20 minutes at this time. Graphing delays may take longer to resolve.

Re: Login to Optics every visit?

We actually recommend that you don't bookmark the dashboard after being signed in. But after the OB Forum update which fixed the search (TY!) and upgraded other things, my password manager stopped auto-filling the user/PW fields. It's now a few clicks to the PW manager app to manually fill and then...

Re: Switching Optics owners- can someone please help???

I know how to establish the account and provide the appropriate information. I don't need instructions, I need Outback to do what they have promised and switch the Mate 3 into my account so I can use the Optics system. They have been provided with all information and documentation requested. They d...

Re: Login to Optics every visit?

A few days ago I upgraded my MacOS from Sierra to Mojave, and many of my secure apps required me to login every visit, maybe the first 10 times. Most of them "recognize" me now, but Optics is a holdout. I probably click the bookmark for my dashboard 15 times a day (I know, I'm kinda OCD), but after...

Re: Missing Devices?

If you can add your Optics site name to your OutBack forum profile information we can assist you further with this. Both those firmware versions are supported, so I'm not sure why we would be losing sight of your inverter information. The GS8048A should self report its model and firmware information...

Re: automatic configuration reset -errors- [closed]

Apologies for not spotting this earlier. If you are running an older version of the Mate3s firmware, there were some known bugs in the firmware that caused calibration settings and grid connect settings to be interpreted incorrectly once sent to OpticsRE. These were fixed in the 1.4.2 update. Fixed ...

Has FlexTime been relocated or eliminated for use within Optics? I have been guilty of letting the system run autonomously until a recent GFDI fuse needed replacing. I wanted to make some adjustments to FlexTime through Optics, but I can't find the tab. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Make sure th...

Any event with your OpticsRE username shown in the 'User' column would indicate that the change was initiated through using the 'Apply' button in OpticsRE while logged in to that account. When these changes showed up had you made any adjustments to other values (even on different tabs) and hit apply?
