Re: Grid Sell and Electric Meter

I couldn't find anything on CoMo's website re net metering. But according to this website https://renewmo.org/missouri-clean-energy-laws/net-metering-easy-connection-act/ net metering is legally required to be available to all residential utility customers in Missouri. There's a phone number on the...

Inverter: GS 8048 Batteries: 860Kwh lead acid CC: 2 Midnight Classic 150s Solar: 24 275w panels I am out in the Ozarks of Missouri and there is nobody that knows these grid interactive systems in the whole state. Re: Google Home or SmartThings integration

Has anyone figured out a way to integrate either OpticsRE or the Mate3 web interface with Google Home or SmartThings? This is exactly what I am trying to do right now but I haven't figured out how to do it. I am trying to learn python at the moment and google has a cloud based web application servi...

Re: Complete system shutdown

Due to work trips, reserve duty, and various other commitments I made this past month I have been unable to get to my Parents place to replace the power supply and get the system back up. It's a shame too because we are wasting precious summer months. In any case, to answer your question I had my pa...

Re: Complete system shutdown

It is still under warranty until May of next year. Just got off the phone with technical support about 30 minutes, and they wanted me to pull the power supply to inspect the board underneath for damages. It would be a shame if I went all the way out to MO to replace the power supply only to find out...

Re: Complete system shutdown

I know it was no less that 80% SOC because I can measure that at the shunt with WIZBANG device on the charge controllers. My mom didn't think to check that at 3am in the morning, but by noon the next day we were at 100% state of charge and I know from specification of our system that it could not ha...

Complete system shutdown

I got some bad news yesterday. My system is the first generation Radian 8048, with 840aH of battery backup, and the whole system is installed at my parents place in MO (I live in MA). I have never managed to get it connected to optics, so I don't have statistics. Outback sent a replacement Mate 3, b...

Radian Installation in Missouri (interconnect agreement prob

I posted this in the general topic forum, but perhaps this is a better question here since it involves the specific design and application of the Radian series inverters. I have the outback GS8048A with load center, two midnight charge controllers, and a bank of batteries totaling 860amp hours at 48...

Radian Installation in Missouri (utility agreement issues)

I have the outback GS8048A with load center, two midnight charge controllers, and a bank of batteries totaling 860amp hours at 48v, along with 6KW of panels. This system is mostly installed. I say mostly, because we still need to disconnect the electrical furnace as that will be my only "non-critica...
