Select the forum (not a topic in a forum) to get the forum list and then click the "New Topic" button at the top of the list.

Re: Installer won't deregister our MAC address

It kind of happens a lot and it can be messy. We need to be as sure as we can be before providing system access, so thanks for the participation.

Re: Site goes in to error screen for password

Hi Beantree, Apologies for the moderation delay and the problems you're having. The "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page e-mails the administrator. I happen to know that he (I) was unexpectedly out last week, long story sold separately, and still going through moderation requests and admin is...

Hi Kiwi,

Many apologies for the troubles and the moderation delay. Long story sold separately.

Did you get this solved in the meantime? If not, I know who to send it to.

True, if you click on Resources.

If you hover over the resources menu heading, it brings up the entire menu tree, including Product Registration.

Re: Text Message Alerts

Hi Magnum, The system (without OpticsRE) doesn't send out alerts. Using OpticsRE, you can set it up for email alerts (but not text). Just a quick tip: if you name your site something besides "Home", it'll be easier for us to locate in OpticsRE one day if we need to help out. There are probably 50 "H...

Re: What is the OPTICSn.RPY file

.rpy = "Replay". If the controller is configured to talk to OpticsRE but can't reach it (e.g.: due to temporary loss of Internet connectivity), it stores the data temporarily in this replay file. When connection is reestablished, the controller then uploads the contents of the reply file so that Opt...

A hack from Vietnam. Maybe that ssl certificate one day. Hello all, The offending post has been deleted. Note that no certificate would have prevented this post. Re: Battery DoD query!!

First - welcome! Second - it would be helpful if you add your system information in your forum profile. That will help others know what system you're dealing with. Third - if your system is connected to OpticsRE, add your OpticsRE system name to the profile. That will help OutBack staffers have a lo...

Hi Marius, We're not experiencing any obvious issues on the OpticsRE server. It looks like you're running two Mate3S devices with 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 firmware. Here's a knowledge base article with some tips on what to do upon disconnect: https://opticsre.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1824826-my-g...

I got your PM and responded... however my Outbox shows 1 message, maybe it did not get sent.
FYI: Unlike "real" mail, those PM's stay in your outbox until someone reads it - then it moves.

@Jim: You don't see an Options/Attachments area at the bottom of the "Post a Reply" window? I have no clue whether this is relevant: I usually put my attachment "inlines" on a separate text line in the post window.

When you attached them, did you ask for them to be placed inline (like the one above and below)?

Re: OpticsRE changes don't take...

So... I've had a look 'round the back of the shop. We've put together a knowledge base article (thanks, Bryce!) describing this issue and a remedy, of sorts:

Yes OpticsRE is the way to go. Fewer tedious sessions in front of a mechanical interface that fell out of fashion with the iPod 1. OpticsRE cloud fits the current imperative for social distancing too. You can tell your spousal unit you are going online in order to keep a safe distance from your Mat...

Yo, Yoe. If you add your OpticsRE site name to your forum profile, someone could take a look to see what we could determine. The first thing I would've checked is whether your controller is actually in communications with OpticsRE. If not, I'd send you here: https://opticsre.uservoice.com/knowledgeb...
