Re: A great thing about this forum...

I can't agree more. I've been involved in a lot of forums over time and I'm constantly amazed at the quality, frequency and promptness of the responses from the community.

Kudos to all y'all!

Hi Tod,

I see that my answer to your PM bounced similarly. Here's the chewy goodness:

In the upper-right of the forum page, once you're logged in, click your user name, select "User Control Panel", then select "Profile" and then "Edit account settings". There, you can set the proper e-mail address.

PS OOPS I think I have this on the wrong thread. I thought I was on the thread where the Mate3s was incorrectly reading VOC and would never read an upward voltage movement... Perhaps Admin will move me to the correct thread.
Could you send me a link to the post you're referring to?

Re: Can't delete private messages

So... this sounds familiar: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=661&t=2535206 It proposes a code patch (which we'll try out sometime *soonish*). The problem comes when looking at a folder (e.g.: Inbox) and then selecting one or more messages with the check-box and trying to delete them i...

Re: Can't delete private messages

I've seen that response recently as well and figured either I or the given message was somehow just *special*. My inbox isn't yet full yet, so I didn't track it down.

I'll see what I can determine...

If anyone else has experience to report, that might be helpful.

Re: grid outage

Hello, I do know that we've done some work in OpticsRE lately to add notifications for grid outage. If you look in the release notes (https://www.opticsre.com/Home/#/patch-notes), you'll see that we added notifications on 1/20. I don't happen to know off the top of my head, but it's possible that th...

Re: Website / Forum changes

We're changing hosting, essentially. Since we were changing that, it didn't make sense to set up certificates on the existing server if we were about to make that move. Since a number of other sites and platforms are shifting at the same time, there's a fair amount of internal bureaucracy involved f...

Forum Going Down For Maintenance

Hello all, On (or about) the 17th of January, we will be taking down this forum for maintenance, a shift in hosting and the addition of a security certificate. Outage and test could be up to about a day or so. As the time gets nearer and the details clearer, I'll add to this post. Watch this space. ...

Re: Security

Hello all, The OutBack forum is hosted on a system with several other Alpha/OutBack sites. It's in the process of being shifted to a different hosting and at that time, a security certificate will be added to this site (rather than adding it to the existing (old) site and then redoing it shortly the...

Hi Peter,

I reached out to Miguel and he has made you a profile administrator. He could, since he was one as well. You can also now decide whether David should remain a profile administrator and set that appropriately.

Hope that helps.
