Hello, month ago I've had dead outback inverter in my Flexpower1 (described here http://www.outbackpower.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8300 ) - Outback sent me new panels to New Zealand and they arrived in 7 days directly to my rural address and I have to say I'm absolutely excited about the servic...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hi Vic, yup force bulk initiated absorp and it keeps on. I forgot to answer some of your questions. - I'm in New Zealand, top of North Island (Mangonui, Far North) - our panels face north and have an ideal position. I plan to buy another 3 (or 6) panels later, but till now our 1500W covered all our ...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hi Vic, sorry for confusion, I have FM-60 (not MX)... I've bought FP1 without the controller and wired up the existing FM-60 I was using before... When I set time to 7hours and Amperage to 0, and I restart the battery/controller it goes to absorb and after 5 minutes switches of saying Charged - will...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hi Vic, I've tried to set the absorb time to 7 hours and 0A but the outback mx60 just switches to float saying that it's charged (I think it's because the 0A settings, I think the outback goes to float when the absorb time OR absorb amperage level is reached. Is there any way how to force the charge...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hi Vic, sorry for late reply. I'm absolute newbie in off-grid/solar so some of answers will probably bit of shock for you... How often do you EQ the battery? - I've done it twice in 5 months How much water has this battery bank been using? - not much, I don't have records but in the 5 months I used ...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hi, the batteries are fully charged, mate shows 52V. The first voltage cut-off happened after high load when soc was 75%, I switched off all AC loads and let the batteries to recharge (full day of sun). Then next day I was using everything normally, the day was sunny, batteries were charged and in t...

Re: Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Thanks for quick reply, unfortunately I have much bigger problem now - all of sudden my inverter died. I've found out I don;t have any AC at home so went to flexpower and all breakers were fine, but mate displayed only the charger info and all LEDs on inverter were off. I've tried to switch off/on t...

Low battery voltage cut-off with SOC 75%

Hello, I have flex power one 48V with 8x6V 430ah Crown flooded batteries and 6x250W Trina panels (3 in series). All was working fine and we almost always stayed above 75% SOC. But yesterday after two dark days the inverter suddenly switched-off with low voltage battery error. We had 2.5Kw load on th...

Re: Flexpower controller + breakers wiring

I've wired the flexpower + two breakers and FM60 and I'm uploading the result just in case someone would end up in the similar situation as me. Not really sure if it is hundred percent correct, I'm not an electrician - but it works fine for last couple of months...

Flexpower controller + breakers wiring

Hello there, I've bought second hand (unused) Flexpower 1 48v3kw which doesn't have a FM controller installed. I'm going to add my existing FM60 controller but I just want to be sure that I do it right. There are no PV/Controller breakers installed too. So I would like to buy: 1) 40A breaker for PV ...
